Dr. Kristen Green is a Board Certified Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychologist specializing in the provision of psychological services for children, adolescents university-age students. Dr. Green specializes in therapy and psychological testing with children and adolescents with a variety of problems. She has specialty training in working with children and adolescents, ages 2 - 18. She has worked successfully with children with developmental delays, behavioral problems, mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment issues (divorce, death, illness, general stress), anxiety/OCD, and autism spectrum conditions. In therapy, Dr. Green tends toward a cognitive-behavioral framework and also utilizes mindfulness, play, DBT, and psychodynamic techniques.
Dr. Green specializes in the differential diagnosis of mental health disorders in children and adolescents. She believes that a proper understanding of the origins and nature of a child's difficulties are key to effective intervention. She approaches her work with assessment and therapy clients with the goal of fully understanding each client and his/her/their unique circumstances.
Dr. Green works closely with the parents/families of the children in her practice. Children and adolescents are most successful in therapy when their parents/families are committed to being involved and supporting their children in the therapeutic process.
Dr. Green is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Dr. Green opened Chattahoochee Child Psychology Services, LLC and has been in private practice in Gainesville, GA since 2008. Dr. Green has been a licensed psychologist for more than 16 years.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Green holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in School Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Green earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in child and adolescent psychology, at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Green completed her internship and postdoctoral training in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at Applewood Centers, Inc., a community mental health center, in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Green is certified in HeartMath(R) Interventions. Dr. Green is also Faculty in the Psychiatry Residency at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA.
Dr. Green accepts Georgia Medicaid, Amerigroup, and Cigna. Dr. Green sees clients in the Gainesville office.

Dr. Lee joined CCPS in December 2022. Dr. Lee is currently working in a post-doctoral capacity towards licensure as a psychologist in Georgia. She was previously licensed in Indiana. She received her PsyD from the University of Indianapolis in 2016, completed internship at LSU's Health Sciences Center and postdoctoral fellowship at the Riley Child Development Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Lee's primary focus has been assessment and diagnosis of developmental disabilities in young children. Dr. Lee is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Green. Dr. Lee currently conducts assessments in the Gainesville office.

Ms. Amber Price works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, OCD, depression, difficulty adjusting to life transitions, and more. She works with children who have trouble appropriately expressing big feelings and with teenage girls/young adult women experiencing stress, self-doubt, and school/work-related anxiety. Amber obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. Additionally, she works under the supervision of Dr. Lucinda Grapenthin towards her certification in Play Therapy. She has been with CCPS since May 2017. Ms. Price sees children and adolescents in the Gainesville office and online.
